1.     Initial Meeting

In the initial meeting you will meet to discuss some of our company values and discuss what you are looking for in your dream home built with Copper Creek. We will ask questions about locations, budget, financing, your design tastes, and house plans. We will then review Copper Creek’s Design Service Agreement and Lot Hold Agreement (if applicable) and discuss the next steps of moving forward to the design phase of your custom home.

2.     Design Phase

After the initial meeting, you will meet with the Architect Representative and Interior Designer who will help begin designing your custom home. There may be additional meetings to make sure we get everything just the way you want. We will present you a concept plan with a front colored rendering and a “rough” estimate before actual bids to make sure we are on the same page with design. We always try to design the house with your budget in mind. We will also go over starting points for the house specifications and selections with our in-house Interior Designer, Sarah Revak. Sarah will ask questions more in depth about your design tastes, and types of selections preferred, to help with the estimating process.

3.     Estimate

Once the plan is mostly complete and we have established a starting point for selections we will send the information out to our trade partners for actual estimates on your house.

4.     Construction Agreement

When all the estimates are back from the trade partners we will present the actual cost of the home based on the plans & specs. You will be able to review all of the preliminary home specifications and bid estimates to make any additional changes and finalize details. Once the pricing is agreed upon, you will sign a Construction Agreement. At this time a construction deposit will be due.

5.     Permit

After the Construction Agreement is signed we will apply for permit with the municipality.

6.     Selections

During the permit phase you will begin making your final selections. Sarah will help guide you through the selection process and set timetables for when selections need to be made by.

7.     Start of Construction

We will begin construction once the city has released permit. Approximately 4-6 months to your completed custom dream home!

8.     Move in and enjoy your custom-built home!
